You may not think much about the order you work muscles during weight training, but it can make a difference in your workout quality. My trainer recommends that during free weight workouts, for example, abdominal exercises are best at the end of the session. This is because the abdominal muscles need to be fresh during the rest of the workout to support your core, maintain good form, and prevent injury.
