Your Best Day Every Day

While working in the Daysteps company, I have begun to work with a business coach.
One of my assignments with my coach was to think about and write out as detailed as I could a plan or vision of how I would like the days in my life to go. I was to focus down to the finest detail (think-how you want to wake up, how you want your morning drive to go) so that I could begin to come into line with receiving what was important to me. My coach explained that the clearer my vision the more likely I would be to see opportunities that would support and guide me to what I want.
Very fun stuff to do—if you have time. So, since I had to do it anyway for my assignment I thought I will just write out a few things a day. This really has made it easy, fun and I can’t wait to see what happens. I realized that this assignment is so in line with Daysteps. Living your best day everyday. For it to be effective, I need to read it frequently and you know, every time I do, I feel good. Not everything is there, but it is fun to think about how it is going to be when it is. Give it a try by writing some things out during a commercial and see how quickly you can design your dream day. To give you an idea of how specific to be, I will write out the beginning of mine.
~I wake up refreshed and eager to start my day.
~I exercise for an hour and always feel great.
~I come home from the gym and my children are happy to get up.
~They get dressed for school and always know where their clothes, shoes, and book bags are. (I have 6 children that are going to school)
~They make their beds and tidy up their rooms.
~The whole family eats a nutritious breakfast.
~The kids brush their teeth and we leave for school in plenty of time.
~My house is easily cleaned up because there is a place for everything.
~I dress my completely potty-trained four year old.
~He happily draws or plays with his cars while I get ready for my day.
~I always know what the best use of my time is and I have plenty of time for everything
~My husband comes home for lunch and we eat an easily prepared and healthy lunch with our son.
~My four year old happily takes a rest and I spend about 15 minutes reading.
~I make successful calls that help my growing business.
My real list is even more specific and goes on through the end of the day. Some of these seem just crazy don’t they? They really sounded crazy to me when I first started doing it. But they no longer sound like a fantasy life. They seem to be realistic and very normal. Since I have started doing this, many things that were minor irritations that you think are just part of life have really began to flow better and many of the items on my list are easily happening. (Except for the shoes one.)
