Kelly Wagner

I am so excited to bring this new adventure to you. Prior to staying at home to raise my family, I worked as a Certified Recreation Therapist. I worked with adults and children in various aspects of mental health, such as substance abuse, eating disorders, chronic mental illness, stress disorders, and some physical rehabilitation. My years at the hospital were some of the greatest years of my life. My coworkers were incredibly dedicated and some of the best people I know. The patients I worked with always inspired me because of where they came from and where they went.

I worked at the hospital until after the birth of my first son. Little did I know then that I was going to be blessed with six more children! Spending time with my husband and children is my favorite part of every day. Obviously, I am extremely busy with my home and family, but taking care of myself and my health has always been important, as well. So many times I feel like I am having the MOST fun, or I have the FUNNIEST friends and get to laugh a lot. I am forever amazed at the EXTREME amounts of joy I get to have, even when I must look to find it.

Why not make even the most routine parts of our lives as enjoyable as we can? Instead of just getting through really exhausting and hard days, why not find contentment and joy in the good parts of our lives? I am thrilled beyond words to be a part of DaystepsTM, as we work together to achieve and inspire indescribable amounts of joy, balance, and fulfillment in the many moments of every day.

Cecilia George

I have been a stay-at-home mom for 25+ years and just recently returned to the workforce as an office manager. I was always aware of my own identity and believed with all my heart that my main priorities were my six children and my family life. Without even knowing what I was doing, I was practicing DaystepsTM. This process came naturally to me because I found that I needed to be organized and focused.

With this technique I have remained balanced and fulfilled. I have learned to separate my obligations from my goals and truly value and appreciate positive things every day. It also has encouraged me to stay in the moment.

Bobette Kyle

Bobette KyleI have seen several sides of “the fence” over the years. At 18, I became a single mom, relying on welfare to survive. Against all expectations, I entered and completed college. After working as a fast- food manager for several months, I knew my calling was elsewhere; I entered an MBA program. The corporate ladder beckoned, I was eager to learn, so I climbed it. The price of a six-figure salary (55+ hour work weeks and nonstop stress) eventually caught up with me. The body rebelled, and I was forced to consider a change.

In 2000, my daughter, husband, and I moved back to our hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. I began the process of learning what many had already discovered — the value of a balanced lifestyle. I became a solopreneur and put health, exercise, and happiness on par with a career. The money is much less, but the satisfaction much greater. I truly enjoyed creating and continue to publish both WebsiteMarketingPlan.com and MyOnlineWeddingHelp.com. Through DaystepsTM, I hope to help other women lead a balanced lifestyle that works for them on their own terms.

Laura Thake

Laura ThakeI began my professional career at Alex Paradowski Graphic Design and moved to Stan Gellman Graphic Design, both small studios with excellent reputations in the field of print design in St. Louis. In 1996 I was hired as the first on-staff graphic designer at Webster University. I worked there for 8 years and left in 2004 to start my own company, Laura Thake Graphic Design. I have been fortunate to find a wide variety of clients and expand my knowledge of design in the process.

Kelly and I have been friends for almost 35 years, so being asked to join this team as graphic designer was a natural fit. The most enjoyable part of this project has been getting to work so closely with an old and dear friend. I was thrilled to have the chance to design a new product for women that celebrates the positive and simplifies the busy lives of women everywhere. This team of women worked on every aspect of this project, from selecting a paper that feels good to write on, doesn’t show through from page to page, to a color selection that’s sophisticated and calming. We’re proud of the results, we hope to hear from users with their suggestions because we want this to work for mulitple types of women. We look forward to creating more products in this line, together, with focus, quality, and function in mind.
